Love. I shot this image in shutter priority mode to be able to darken the image as I wanted. I lit the image using a small led flashlight to achieve the focused light I wanted. I chose this image while thinking about my wife who is in hospital recovering from an operation.

The repetition that keeps my hobby alive. I shot this image in manual exposure mode. I decided on this image as I was sorting out my batteries ready for charging and the long line of them all the same just seemed to make a nice photo crying out for a DOF image.

Seeds of life. I shot this picture in manual exposure mode and in black and white. I collected this Teasel (Dipsacus fullonum) while out on an autumn walk with my family, I like it as a subject due to its great shapes and textures like the pine cones in my photostream. I went to take a photo of it today and all the seeds fell out which made the image all the better. I chose black and white because I felt it made the image more dramatic. I will definitely be planting the seeds in my garden and hoping they grow for some more photo opportunities later in the year.
