My photo-a-day project for 2013

I started this project on January 1st 2013. The aim of this project is to improve my knowledge, skill and imagination by taking a photo everyday for 1 year and publishing the photo on the internet. My aim is to improve my composition, lighting setup and get to use the full functions of my cameras.

I plan to use mainly my bridge camera which is a Fuji HS 20exr, filling in some days with my camera phone when the opportunity arises. I'm hoping to capture images from around my local area as well as days out and shots set up in my home to test my lighting and composition skills. I also plan on using some special days to inspire shots such as Mother's Day, Valentines Day and other less known days such as World Book Day and National Handwriting Day.

My images will be uploaded to my Flickr photostream each day and will also be uploaded to my Facebook page and on my Blogger page.
